Pancake lovers can go to IHOP Tuesday for a free short stack in celebration of National Pancake Day.

The restaurant asks customers to leave a voluntary donation to help raise money for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

The 12th National Pancake Day Fundraiser aims to raise $3.5 million.

The fundraiser goes until 7 p.m., with some locations extending until 10 p.m.

IHOP says it expects to serve more than 5 million free pancakes on Tuesday - that's a 19 mile high stack of pancakes!

Last year, the restaurant says it raised almost $4 million for leading children's charities, and since the inception of National Pancake Day in 2006, IHOP has raised $24 million for local community charities
