An Attica woman was critically injured Monday evening in a car crash that happened in the Village of Alexander.
The Genesee County Sheriff's Office says 53-year-old Lorna Johnson was heading south on Route 98 just before 5 p.m. when she slid off the road and hit a tree.
Deputies say the icy road conditions and unsafe speed probably caused the crash.
Johnson was taken via Mercy Flight to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester where she is listed in critical condition.
