More than 400 people from Western New York traveled together to Washington D.C. for the annual March for Life.

The Catholic Diocese of Buffalo organized the trip to the event that calls for the Roe v. Wade decision, which legalized abortion nationwide, to be overturned.

"It's exhilarating," said Cheryl Calire of the Diocese.  "It's history.  We have people from all walks of life from Buffalo.  We have the young, the mature and everything in between."

A large number of young students traveled to the march.  Several attend Chesterton Academy of Buffalo and were there with their teacher Kyle Gorlick.

"They are the future of the pro-life movement," said Gorlick.  He and other organizers say the movement has a bright future.

"The great number of young people who are present down here who are really taking the time to give witness to what we believe is the great gift of human life," said Father Jeff Nowak of the Diocese.
