Hundreds of people gathered in Niagara Square Thursday afternoon to speak out against Carl Paladino's comments published inArtvoice last week.
Chants of "PaladiNO" and "Paladino has got to go," echoed through the square. Several organizations, including the Buffalo Parent-Teachers Organization and Citizen Action of New York rallied against the Buffalo School Board Member.
The Buffalo PTO will submit an appeal to New York State Education Commissioner MaryEllen Elia to remove Paladino from his position.
Supporters of Paladino were also present.
The Buffalo School Board will hold a special meeting in Common Council Chambers at 2:30 to discuss "board member conduct."
