Last year, parking was a bit troublesome for the Italian Festival's first year at the Outer Harbor. This year, they are hoping to solve that despite the construction on the Skyway.
For those hoping to take the Skyway, it will be open from 11am to midnight the entire weekend running outbound (towards the festival).
If you are coming from the 190 South there will be detours at both Oak Street and Louisiana Street which will lead right to the festival grounds.
Police also said there will be plenty of signs and staff available to help.
Parking is also free to the public with Italian Fest having a $5 entrance fee.
