Trade between the U.S. and Canada was one of the main topics discussed by President Donald Trump and Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau when they met in Washington.  Afterwards, President Trump said there were "tweaks" that could be made to the North American Free Trade Agreement that would benefit both nations.

While there have been problems with the southern border of the U.S., many in Western New York believe free trade has benefited companies and residents from both countries.

According to the Buffalo Niagara Partnership, 350,000 people cross the northern border between Canada and the U.S. each day.  Regarding local trade, $30 billion crosses the three local international bridges (Peace Bridge, Rainbow, Lewiston-Queenston) annually.

So, how much do you know about the Canadian impact on the local economy?

7 Eyewitness News Reporter Ed Reilly went to find out and discovered it is a lot more than many people think.
