A house fire prompted emergency crews to shut down part of Lockport-Olcott Road in Newfane Friday night.
Flames broke out at a home in the 3000 block of the road shortly after 6 p.m.
Firefighters used a ladder to climb onto the roof in their efforts to get the situation under control.
It's unclear at this time what caused the fire or if anyone was injured.
