Anyone suffering mental distress from the the Lockport tire factory fire is encouraged to call a hotline.
The hotline has been set up by the Niagara County Health Department. It is specifically targeted toward any resident or emergency personnel who was directly affected by the fire.

“They can speak to a qualified health representative and discuss their concerns with that person,” Lockport Mayor Anne McCaffrey said.
On Wednesday, a five-alarm fire erupted at High Tred International. Black smoke could be seen billowing in the sky from several miles away.
The fire was burning for nearly 24 hours, and by Friday afternoon, crews were still putting out hotspots.
An evacuation order was in effect from Wednesday evening until Friday evening. By 8pm Friday, all residents in the affected area were allowed to go home. One street remains blocked off to vehicular traffic.
