One of the few hotels in the city's historic Allentown neighborhood will soon be shutting its doors.
The Holiday Inn on Delaware Avenue between Allen and North Streets will be closing September 5th. That's according to officials from Hart Development.
The hotel's 50-year lease has expired with Benderson Development. The company will work to transfer employees to other local hotels.
According to a WARN Notice filed with New York State, the closure of the hotel puts 82 people out of work.
Business First reports the building will remain a hotel, but no other details are available.
