Horizon Health Services holds 3rd annual walk

Sunday morning in Delaware Park, Horizon Health Services held it's 3rd annual "A Walk Towards a new Horizon."

This wellness walk is in honor of September being Recovery Month. Horizon provides assistance and "hope" to people who have drug and/or mental health issues.

According to Horizon, their services "offer people a new chance at living healthy and productive lives."

All of the funds raised from the walk go towards additional programming and education.

This year, a spokesperson for HHS, said they surpassed their goal of $25,000 and hope to raise even more money to assist in programming for young adults also battling addiction.
