BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - The Teen Pregnancy Prevention (TPP) Program will be eliminated after June 30, 2018.
HOPE Buffalo was notified in July by the Office of Adolescent Health, a division of the Department of Health and Human Services, that the current administration will get rid of the program.
The organization, which promotes a community-wide pledge for teen health and wellness, is funded by the Office of Adolescent Health.
HOPE Buffalo was supposed to be funded up until 2020. Organizers said the administration's decision was "unprecedented" but will continue strategizing on a more sustainable future.
