The Town of Holland is asking residents to cut back on water usage as parts of Western New York enter a severe drought.
The Holland Water District issued a voluntary water conservation alert on Thursday afternoon, requesting that residents cut back on watering lawns, filling pools and washing cars.
Holland relies on ground water from a well which has been in short supply due to the unusually dry weather.
