Holiday Valley in Ellicottville is rejoicing from all the snow the resort has received this past week.
The resort opened four additional slopes Sunday, bringing the total up to 15 trails now open for skiing and snowboarding. Holiday Valley has four lifts operating.
People were skiing and riding in as much as three feet of powder Saturday, which is a rare experience here in Western New York.
Holiday Valley plans to have more terrain open by Thursday.
Kissing Bridge in Glenwood is making snow, and preparing to open by the end of the week. Crews have been making snow around the clock.
