Holiday Valley kicks off this year's skiing and snowboarding season the morning of Black Friday. The ski resort tweeted out that it was "all systems go" for opening day, and that the snowmakers had been working throughout the past few days. The resort said after making snow for days, it was shutting down the guns to let the groomers get out on the runs.
For opening day Friday (November 23rd) the Mardi Gras, Yodeler, Tannenbaum and School Haus lifts will run. Holiday Valley says those runs and some additional ones will be available. The lifts will open at 9:00 am Friday and stay open until 10:00 pm. On Saturday and Sunday hours will be 8:30 am - 10:00 pm.
