Can't wait for winter? Holiday Valley isn't waiting for mother nature to dump snow on their ski slopes. They plan to fire up their snow making equipment this Tuesday.

The Ellicottville ski resort says that with the weather forecast calling for temperatures and humidity levels low enough, they will start to produce the white stuff with their automated snow making guns on Yodeler, the Candy Cane Loop, Mardi Gras, School House and possibly Cindy’s slopes starting Tuesday evening through Thursday morning.

Holiday Valley is hoping it stays cool enough for them to stockpile the man-made snow for their anticipated opening day, November 23rd (weather permitting).
