The Hispanic Heritage Council is hoping to spread awareness of Hispanic culture and its importance.
A month of celebration begins on September 15th and lasts until October 15th.
There will be a celebration at the Buffalo & Erie County public library at 12:30. There will be a proclamation from Mayor Byron Brown and a representative from Governor Andrew Cuomo's office.
Dance teams from the Argentine Tango School and performers from the Buffalo Tango Orchestra will also be in attendance.
