The annual ATHENA Awards were held June 5th at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center.
Ahead of the awards ceremony, 7 Eyewitness News Anchor Ashley Rowe moderated a panel discussion with all 14 finalists to discuss women in leadership roles.
The conversation moved through a variety of issues that women in executive roles face in the workforce, and highlighted some of the opportunities and challenges that future women in leadership roles will experience.
7ABC edited more than 130 minutes of panel discussion content down to a nine minute video, which was presented at the awards ceremony in front of 600 business leaders.
