Hiring 716: Job Fair at Walden Galleria Tuesday

Close to 40 businesses will be on hand Tuesday from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. at the Walden Galleria for an annual job fair. It takes place near the Apple Store.

Bath Fitter is one in that group. It's looking to hire more than a dozen employees. “We need someone that’s energetic, someone bubbly, someone that can talk to people, and that can explain to them what we do,” said General Manager, Tom Guarino. Bath Fitter's hiring 10-15 brand ambassadors. They're responsible for representing the company at various events out in the community. Pay starts at $13 an hour. It's also looking for two installers, and a sales consultant. Pay varies for these positions. Guarino said experience is preferred across the board. Laura Werwinski's with the Cheektowaga Chamber of Commerce. She's organizing the event. She said it has the widest range of employment opportunities, yet. “We've got faculty positions over at ECC, we've got stockroom positions, customer service, sales at GEICO, all sorts of things going on,” she said.
