Hamburg mom finds success in retail

Theresa Dempster is a mom to 17-month-old, Nathan, first. But, she also loves her work at Breadhive Cafe.

The 38-year-old from Hamburg has been juggling work and home life since Nathan was about one year old. “There is a guilty factor like I should be at home with my son,” she explained.

What’s her saving grace? Support and appreciation at home and from her employers at Breadhive. “They want me here. They want me working. But, they also understand my family is my number one priority.”

Theresa is part time. She hopes to go back to full time soon, and knows Breadhive has her back no matter what. “They're understanding so when I call and say Nathan is sick, they say no problem.” And, in Theresa’s case, that's a recipe for success. “I've had a great experience and I wouldn't change it for the world.”
