High school security guard charged with rape

A high school security guard has been arrested and charged with rape.

According to the Orleans County Sheriff's Office, 46-year-old Adam Mesiti, of Brockport, has been arrested on multiple charges related to alleged sexual conduct with a female under the age of 17 at Holley High School.

Mesiti has been charged with 10 counts of rape, 20 counts of criminal sexual act and 30 counts of sex misconduct.

According to the sheriff's office, Mesiti was employed by C.O.P. Security, a private firm contracted to provide security services to the Holley School District, in 2014 when the alleged incidents took place.

The Holley Central School District issued this statement in response:

"The Holley Central School District is cooperating fully with the Orleans County Sheriff’s Department in the investigation of an employee of C.O.P. Security Inc. The security and safety of our students and staff is our top priority. We will continue to work with law enforcement in their efforts to keep our community safe."

According to 13 WHAM in Rochester, Mesiti has also worked as a Brockport police officer. It is unclear how long he served on the force. Mesiti currently owns Five Sons Winery and RG Brewery in the Town of Sweden.

Mesiti was arraigned in the Town of Murray Court. He is scheduled to return to court on March 22nd.
