Congressman Brian Higgins is hoping the NFTA can breath new life into the DL&W Terminal along the Buffalo waterfront
The Congressman announced his support for the NFTA's plan to connect Canalside, the Buffalo River, and the Cobblestone District via an extension of Metro Rail.
The plan would allow for Metro Rail cars to pull right into the DL&W Terminal and deliver passengers at a proposed station on the ground floor of the Buffalo River-side terminal.
Higgins plans on calling for federal transportation funding to support the project.
