NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WKBW) - With just a few weeks left of summer, we've found a way to enjoy it while sneaking in some back to school preparation for your students!
The Herschell Carrousel Museum in North Tonawanda is hosting a 'Back to STEM' week, highlighting elements of the museum's field trip curriculum.
The week runs August 21st to August 25th. It features activities focusing on science, technology, engineering and math.
Monday the 21st: Learn about electricity with squishy circuits
Tuesday: Build a marble run roller coaster
Wednesday: Free admission, not part of STEM week
Thursday: DIY lava lamp
Friday: Build a cardboard carousel animal
Teachers with ID will receive free admission to 'Back to STEM' week. Admission for adults is $7 and $3.50 for kids ages 2-16. The Museum is open from 10 a.m to 4 p.m, located at 180 Thompson Street in North Tonawanda.
