BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — This week marks the 45th annual National EMS Week, meant to celebrate and honor the men and women who help save lives in emergencies.
The week is designed to bring local EMS companies together with the communities they serve, meaning you can get involved! Until Friday, each day is specially designated to help celebrate the different facets of EMS work.
Monday was EMS Education Day, Tuesday is Safety Tuesday, Wednesday is EMS for Children Day, Thursday is Stop the Bleed Day and Friday is EMS Recognition Day.
