Governor Andrew Cuomo is deploying mobile command centers to help flood victims with insurance claims along Lake Ontario.

The Governor is also requesting assistance from the Army Corps of Engineers under the, "Advanced Measures and Emergency Ops Flood Fighting Programs.  Together, the Governor says these two programs can deploy federal resources to help prevent loss of life while also protecting essential public facilities and infrastructure.

Meantime, sandbagging operations are still underway, with as many as 771,000 sandbags distributed to vulnerable communities along the Lake Ontario shoreline.
