Country music legend Dolly Parton is coming to Western New York, and in true Dolly style, she will make history while she's here.

Parton will bring her "Pure & Simple Tour" - her first major U.S. and Canadian tour in more than 25 years - to Artpark on June 12 at 8 p.m.

Her concert will kickoff the 2016 summer season at Artpark and will be the first special concert event to take place in the Artpark outdoor Amphitheater. The Amphitheater also hosts the popular Tuesday and Wednesday concert series.

Parton is the most decorated country music singer of all-time, having won seven Grammy Awards and 10 Country Music Association Awards, among many other musical honors. Her  talents have also been recognized outside the music industry. She is one of only a handful of artists who has been nominated for an Oscar, Emmy and Tony award.

Tickets for Parton's Artpark concert go on sale April 15 at 10 a.m. and range from 22 dollars to 77 dollars. They can be purchased at tickets.com and artpark.net, by phone at 1-888-223-6000, or at the Artpark Box Office.
