Internet restored after heavy snow, falling trees knock out service in Chautauqua County

Customers with DFT Communications have internet service and long distance calling again, after heavy snow and falling trees damaged major fiber transport links. The company reports services were restored just before 8 p.m.

DFT Communications is a telecommunications company that provides phone and internet service to the Dunkirk, Fredonia, Cassadaga, and Jamestown area.
