The eighth annual Tim Horton's Backyard Classic has been postponed due to Wednesday's heavy rainfall.
The charity outdoor hockey tournament was originally scheduled for Friday, Feb. 26, through, Sunday, Feb. 28, at the Angry Buffalo at the Rose Garden in Lancaster.
Excessive amounts of precipitation, with even more expected, has caused adverse tournament conditions at the site.
Organizers plan to make additional announcements regarding the tournament on the event's Facebook page within the next few days.
