Erie County Sheriff Adam Fiegl appeared in court on Friday morning for a felony hearing. He walked into court with his attorney Thomas Eoannou after posting a $15,000 bail set at his arraignment on Tuesday.

Friday's hearing was adjourned.

"The district attorney's office called me this morning, indicated they were still investigating the case, asked for a 30 day adjournment, we did not oppose it," said Eoannou. "I can't comment on any facts of the case at this time."

Fiegl is charged with three felonies. He's accused of smuggling suboxone into the Erie County Holding Center.

He's set to appear in court on May 26th at 9:30 a.m.
