If you wake up and wish you got a little more sleep, you're not alone. A new study in the Journal of Experimental Psychology is highlighting one simple thing to do to get more shut-eye.
The study shows that if you make a list of the tasks you have to do the next day, you're able to fall asleep faster. In fact, people who made to-do lists fell asleep an average of nine minutes faster than people who didn't. The study also found that the more detailed the list was, the quicker participants were able to fall asleep.
