Hamilton tickets too expensive? Try this

Posted

Hamilton is coming to Buffalo, and tickets can get pretty expensive. To help with that, the producers of Hamilton are holding a ticket lottery.

The lottery happens through the Hamilton App, which can be downloaded here. Once you enter the lottery, you are eligible for a ticket that is cheaper than normal price (according to the website that price is $10). The lottery begins two days prior to the performance.

Here are the rules according to Hamilton's official website:

"The digital lottery is randomized and the order of entry has no effect on your chances of winning. Winners will be notified via email shortly after the lottery closes with a link to purchase the tickets. Winners will have until 4pm to pay for their tickets with a credit card online. Tickets not claimed in this manner will be forfeited and used as the box office sees fit. Winners must pick up their tickets at the box office with a valid photo ID that matches the name drawn. There is a limit of one entry per person, and each winner can purchase two tickets."

According to Shea's, there will be 40 tickets available for each show.

"Hamilton" will be performed at the Shea's Performing Arts Center from November 20th to December 9th.
