One person was taken to the hospital after an alleged burglary on Florette Drive West.
Police responded to 13 Flortte Drive West around 3:30 a.m. after a group of young men entered the home. A struggle allegedly happened and someone inside the home may have fired a gunshot or gunshots at the suspects.
The suspects got away in a vehicle.
The person who fired the gun was hurt and taken to Erie County Medical Center according to sources. Police at the scene would not say what the victim's injuries were.
Police established a crime scene around the house while they continue to investigate the incident. Police expect to release more information later in the day.
