The ATF is searching for the people behind two gun store burglaries in Central New York.  A week later, the fear is, more than a dozen guns could be anywhere.

Surveillance pictures, put out by the ATF, show the guns stolen and a suspect car.

These two gun stores were burglarized over two days.

Someone went into AX Tactical and stole three long guns, last Thursday, just outside Utica.

A week ago, someone broke into Gun Works of Central New York in Verona.

The ATF is now working to find the suspects and get the guns back, before they fall into the wrong hands.

"That's why we're working with urgency, with great urgency, trying to find the people responsible for these crimes and trying to find these firearms. That's why we're asking the public also to help. Somebody out there knows something. Please call us. reach out," said Brian Klas, Special Agent for the ATF.

Right now the ATF is investigating these as separate cases, but they have not ruled out the possibility of a connection.

Anyone with information should call the ATF at 1-888-ATF-GUNS.

You could receive a $5,000 reward for either burglary.
