BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - A group of parents and business community members are advocating to push the date of Buffalo Public School Board elections from May to November.
The Change the Date Coalition says the change would ensure greater participation and lower the costs. According to the group, the move would save an estimated $100,000.
Both assembly members Crystal Peoples-Stokes and Senator Chris Jacobs will introduce legislation to change the date of the elections.
