The young gray wolves in the Buffalo Zoo’s Arctic Edge exhibit will be leaving for their new home on Wednesday.
Zoo officials say siblings Timber and Willow, who turn 2-years-old in April, were not adapting to their habitat as expected. After six months of observations, zookeepers made the decision to transfer the pair to another zoo with a different enclosure.
This spring, modifications will be made to the Arctic Edge exhibit to allow an Arctic Fox to take over that space.
