Governor Andrew Cuomo is expected to address faculty, staff and students at Buffalo State College on Tuesday.

Governor Cuomo’s Rally for his Student Tuition Initiative will take place at 10 a.m. in the Campbell Student Union Social Hall.

In his 2017 State of the State address, Governor Cuomo unveiled his proposal regarding tuition assistance for students in New York State.

The initiative is a proposal to make college tuition-free for New York’s middle class families at all SUNY and CUNY two-and-four-year colleges.

Governor Cuomo is traveling the state to talk about his initiative and has chosen Buffalo State College as the first location on his tour.

Anyone attending is asked to bring their Buffalo State College ID card to enter the event.
