Governor Andrew Cuomo has announced that $6.5 million of funding will be awarded to pediatric and family medical practices across the state.
The funding will enable 17 health centers to use the "Healthy Steps" program. The program helps to identify, monitor, and address emerging behavioral or developmental health concerns in young children.
Governor Cuomo says that the funding will help address the social, emotional, and well-being of children to build at healthier and stronger state.
