Let's hope Santa was watching this good deed unfold! Orchard Park Police are calling two Orchard Park residents "Good Samaritans" after they returned over $1,000 that they found in a parking lot.

Francine Decerbo, 32, and her boyfriend Thomas Brzywuski, 31, found $1,150 in the parking lot of the Regal Cinemas at the Quaker Crossing Plaza in Orchard Park.

The pair brought the cash to police who were able to track down the owner of the money by using the license plate number of the nearest car to where the money was found.

The money was returned to the owner Brian Bartoe of Hamburg. Bartoe had taken his kids to the Regal theater to see Star Wars and had brought this money with him to pay his mortgage and other expenses.

Bartoe didn't know that his money had fallen out of his pocket until the police called him. Bartoe was even able to find one more hundred dollar bill that had blown under his car for a total of $1,250 recovered.
