Pat Papa and the rest of Western New York have made it all the way to December without needing their snow blowers. Before this week's storm, Papa needs to make sure his works.
“It works. Yea, I'm ready,” said Papa.
That’s good because he is about to be busy.
“I help Joey across the street every once in a while,” said Papa. “Then I do Joanne's nextdoor. And there's a guy down the street, that's five. Maybe this one across the way, that's six.”
Every big storm Papa clears seven driveways and the sidewalks on his street in his Cheektowaga nieghborhood.
“There's nothing bazar about it. It's snow and you need to get it out of here and that's all there is too it,” said Papa.
He happily helps his neighbors, but at 77-years-old, he wouldn't be upset to wake up to a cleared driveway of his own.
Pat Papa gladly helps with his snow blower, and with the weather looking extra wintry over the next week, he's ready to help some more.
