BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) — At least seven people are dead, and more than 100 others are missing following a natural disaster in northern India.
Officials there say a massive glacier broke apart in the Himalayan Mountains, triggering avalanches and flash floods along a river in the region.
Some of the missing could be trapped in a tunnel at a hydro-electric power plant project.
Dozens of rescue personel are now on scene looking for any possible survivors.
