A 10-year-old girl spent five days in the hospital after being bit by a dog on New Year’s Eve.
Police say she was outside at an apartment complex in the 4100 block of Harlem Road when a dog came out of an apartment and bit her.
The girl was released from Women and Children’s Hospital on Monday after suffering serious bites on her head and face.
The dog has been impounded and a hearing has been scheduled for January 22 to determine if the dog should be deemed dangerous.
