BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - Exercising more, eating healthier, or just plain "getting fit" are all popular New Year's resolutions. But how do you find the time to get started?
Robbie Raugh, RN came by the 7 Eyewitness News studio to show the morning team a great way to jump start your workout goals. She says there are several effective exercises you can do right at your desk at work. They include chair pushups, dips and squats. Raugh recommends doing each one to the point of fatigue for three sets.
You can see examples of some of the exercises in the video above. Getting moving can make a big difference. Raugh says studies show obese women sit 2.5 more hours a day.
