Getting a head start on Spring business

The thought of the warmer weather headed Western New York's way has people thinking spring. 

7 Eyewitness News stopped at some local businesses that are gearing up for the warmer weather. 

Gui's Ace Hardware in Hamburg has already received their new inventory and is working to transition the store from winter to spring. 

The store manager says their is more salt leftover and still for sale than there usually is this time of year. 

Not far away from Ace, is Red Top. The hot dog restaurant has officially opened for the season. 

The owner tells 7 Eyewitness News they closed for the season around Thanksgiving and thought about opening from time to time because of the warm temperatures this winter.
