A traffic accident closed Genesee Street between Holtz and Transit in Cheektowaga for around a half hour Monday morning.
The accident happened around 9 a.m. At this time, there is no word on how many vehicles were involved or if there are any injures.
Police re-opened the roadway, a major thoroughfare, around 9:30 a.m. but asked motorists to use caution in the area.
