Gas prices are continuing to rise after breaking through a 19-month high one week ago.

The national average for unleaded gasoline is $2.41 per gallon, up two cents from last week. The price in New York is slightly higher at $2.52. Prices in Western New York are hovering at an average of $2.48 per gallon, AAA says.

According to a report from OPEC, prices are being driven up by increased demand in Asia and the United States.
