The price at the pump is going up.
According to AAA, the national average price for a gallon of unleaded gasoline jumped four cents from last week to $1.98. Although prices have increased, they remain lower than the average a year ago, which was $2.42 a gallon.
The average price in New York state has hit $2.04, which is up three cents from last week.
AAA says the average price per gallon in Buffalo is currently $1.99.
