A local attorney is giving back to the community this Thanksgiving.
Dominic Saraceno is paying the adoption fees for every cat and kitten adopted at the SPCA of Niagara's Lockport Road shelter.
This act of generosity, dubbed "Garfield's Gift," comes after Saraceno rescued a couple strays of his own.
Saraceno hopes Garfield's Gift will help the SPCA's overcrowded shelter find homes for all of their cats before the holidays, while honoring one of the greatest companions he has ever known.
