Funeral details for the former City of Tonawanda Police Chief have been released.
John Ivancic, 47, stepped down as Chief of Police in 2013 to battle cancer. He held the position for three years.
Ivancic died from the illness earlier this week.
Calling hours will be held Saturday and Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Hamp Funeral Home in Tonawanda.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. at St. Amelia R.C. Church in Tonawanda.
He leaves behind a wife and daughter.
