A funeral fund has been started for a woman killed last Thursday night as she returned home from Thanksgiving dinner.

Marissa Bailey was traveling home with her mother and boyfriend when she was involved in a car accident around 7 p.m. at the corner of Route 5 and North Creek Road in Hamburg. The 30-year-old Evans woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the funeral fund page, Bailey had been working as a bus aide for extra money, but she and her mother had been living off disability checks and there is no money saved to cover Bailey’s funeral. Bailey had been taking care of her mother due to her mother’s ongoing medical issues.

Bailey’s mother was seriously injured in the accident and remains in the hospital. If you would like to help, click here.

Police have not released further details about the accident.
