Temperatures were in the single digits on Thursday night which created issues for the homeless population in Buffalo. To try and help, Will Marcy and a group with Code Blue Collaborative were out driving around the streets of Buffalo looking for homeless people to bring to shelters.
"You just start to see the need an the suffering. They really don't have a choice."
Marcy was out for over four hours attempted to fill the homeless shelters of Buffalo with those seeking refuge from the extreme cold.
"Nobody should have to go through this," Marcy said, "Especially in Buffalo, it will kill you."
Western New York will be getting some dangerously cold temperatures. So cold that being outside for more than 10 minutes in some areas can lead to frostbite.
