Get ready to get scared this fall.  Six Flags Darien Lake announced Wednesday morning it's bringing back Fright Fest.

The Halloween event will return to the theme park in the fall, featuring "Thrills by Day and Fright by Night" for five weekend.  The scares start September 28th.

Fright Fest is not recommended for children 12 and younger, so the park is offering family-friendly Halloween fun during the day where kids can trick-or-treat.  At night the park transforms into what Darien Lake is calling a "scream park" including zombies, haunted mazes, two new haunted houses, rides, and a laser light show.

The park will be open Friday, Saturdays and Sundays September 28th - October 28th.  Fright Fest runs from 6 p.m.–11 p.m. Fridays; 11 a.m.–11 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m.– 9 p.m.
